AKS Khan Pharmaceuticals Ltd., one of Bangladesh’s premier business conglomerates, has recently penned a contract with MetLife to provide comprehensive insurance services for its employees in Bangladesh.
Under this agreement, employees of AKS Khan Pharmaceuticals Ltd. will be covered for loss of life, accidental death, disability and hospital expenses.

The company selected MetLife as its employee insurance provider due to its tailored solutions, prompt claims processing, and strong financial standing.

AKS Khan Pharmaceuticals Ltd. operates two units, AKS Pharmacy and AKS Diagnostics, which are interconnected to provide a seamless customer experience across both categories. AKS Pharmacy has been enhancing community healthcare since 2018 by offering fast and personalized services.

In Bangladesh, MetLife serves over 300,000 employees and their dependents across more than 900 organizations. In 2024, MetLife policyholders received approximately BDT 2,895 crore in claims.
