MetLife Bangladesh, a leading insurer, revealed that it disbursed Tk 29.81 billion in insurance claims throughout 2023. The previous year, policyholders received Tk 25.48 billion.

The company’s cumulative claims settlements over six years to 2023 surpassed Tk 105 billion, as stated in a press release.

CEO Ala Ahmad highlighted their ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency in claims settlement, aiming to bolster confidence in Bangladesh’s insurance sector.

Ahmad emphasized the convenience for customers, noting that all claim submissions could be made online, with payouts processed within 3 to 5 working days.
