Mohammed Amirul Haque elected president of LOAB for 2025-2026

Mohammed Amirul Haque, managing director of Delta LPG Limited, has been elected president of the LPG Operators Association of Bangladesh (LOAB) for the 2025-2026 term.
Haque will succeed Azam J Chowdhury, who recently completed his term as association president.
A distinguished figure in Bangladesh’s industrial sector, Amirul Haque brings nearly four decades of experience in trade and commerce to his new role. He is widely recognized as one of the country’s leading industrialists and has played a significant part in fostering economic growth.
Haque is the founder and managing director of Seacom Group and Premier Cement Mills PLC, two key players in their respective industries. He has also contributed to the business community by serving as a director of the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).
Beyond his corporate engagements, Haque is known for his role as a thought leader in the industrial sector. He regularly provides policy insights and recommendations to support economic development through print and electronic media platforms.
Haque completed his bachelor’s degree in commerce at Chittagong University before obtaining a master’s degree in England.
