The Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy (iDEA) Project, under the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) of the ICT Division, is set to launch the National Youth Summit Startup Grant Programme to support young entrepreneurs in transforming innovative ideas into reality.

As a key event of the Festival of Youth 2025, themed “Let’s Change the Nation, Let’s Change the World,” the initiative aims to strengthen Bangladesh’s startup ecosystem. Startups and young innovators from sectors including healthcare, agriculture, education, climate, fintech, and IT will be eligible to apply for grants of up to BDT 10 lakh.

Applications will open from February 5 to February 15, 2025. To encourage participation, university activation campaigns will be held nationwide. Applicants will go through an evaluation process led by industry experts, followed by a pitching round, with grant recipients to be announced at the National Youth Summit 2025.

Alongside the grant program, the summit will feature the iDEA Portfolio Startup Exhibition, showcasing innovative products and services. A seminar titled ‘iDEA Project’s Impact to Build Bangladesh Startup Eco-System’ will also highlight the success of previous grant recipients.
