Md Nazrul Islam has joined Bangladesh General Insurance Company Ltd. (BGIC) as Additional Managing Director (AMD) recently, said a press release.

Before joining the BGIC, he served Sadharan Bima Corporation as Deputy General Manager. He is an expert in underwriting, re-insurance, claims processing, and asset management.

Mr Islam started off his career at Sadharan Bima Corporation in 1996 as an assistant manager. He did his MSc from the University of Dhaka in 1992 and MBA from Manarat International University in 2011.
