OpenAI has unveiled ChatGPT Pro, a subscription plan priced at $200 per month, targeting professionals in fields like research and engineering. The plan offers access to advanced tools and features designed for complex computational tasks and high-level reasoning.

Subscribers gain unlimited access to models such as o1, o1-mini, GPT-4o, and Advanced Voice, along with the newly introduced ‘o1 pro’ mode. This feature leverages enhanced computational resources to provide detailed and precise responses for demanding tasks, including data science, coding, and legal analysis.

According to OpenAI, ‘o1 pro’ has demonstrated superior performance on benchmarks for advanced mathematics, science, and programming compared to other models like ‘o1’ and ‘o1-preview.’

ChatGPT Pro complements OpenAI’s existing subscription offerings, including ChatGPT Plus, Team, and Enterprise. The company plans to enhance the Pro tier with additional computational features over time and integrate some of these advancements into other plans.
