Alhajj Salim Rahman has been elected chairman of Al-Arafah Islami Bank (AIB) PLC. He was elected unanimously in the 403rd meeting of the Board held on August 18, 2024, revealed a press statement.

Salim Rahman is the Managing Director of KDS Group, which consists of KDS Garments Industries Ltd, KDS Accessories Ltd, KDS Apparels Ltd, KDS Logistics Ltd, KDS IDR Ltd, KDS Textiles Ltd, KYCR Coil Industries Ltd, Steel Accessories Ltd, KDS Poly Industries Ltd.

Alhaj Salim Rahman has been serving as director for 24 years at Al-Arafah Islami Bank and another private bank.
