Bangladesh International Plastic Fair 2025 held in Dhaka

The 17th Bangladesh International Plastic Fair 2025 took place at Bashundhara International Convention City in Dhaka. Over 800 stalls from 18 countries showcased more than 390 top brands.
According to a press release, Sk Bashir Uddin, adviser to the commerce ministry, inaugurated the four-day event, which began on February 12. The Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BPGMEA) and Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Company Limited jointly organized it.
Several key figures attended the fair, including Md Abdur Rahim Khan, secretary to the commerce ministry, Md Jasim Uddin, president of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Md Hafizur Rahman, administrator of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Akai Lin, overseas director of Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Company Limited, and Samim Ahmed, president of BPGMEA.
The fair served as a platform for industry leaders to explore new technologies and market opportunities in the plastic sector.
