The Chittagong University Debating Society (CUDS) has announced the formation of its 26th executive committee for 2025.

The newly appointed leadership team commits to fostering intellectual discourse, promoting public speaking excellence, and expanding opportunities for debate within the community.

The committee members are as follows:

• President: MD. Rajiur Rahman Arif
• General Secretary: Rayhan Ahmed Chowdhury
• Vice president: Aheli Azman, Abdullah Chowdhury, Sadeku Mujtoba Mahi
• Joint secretary: Ratul Sheikh
• Organizing secretary: MD. Jihad Ali
• Finance secretary:  Wasif Ar Rahman
• Research & Development Secretary: Shrabosti Talukder
• Media & publication secretary: Swe Hai Nu Marma
• Campus affairs secretary: Afifa Nawrin Samiha
• Office & logistics secretary: Ifatur Rahman
• Bangla debate secretary: Ondrila Barua
• English debate secretary: Arijit Barua
• Branding & online affairs secretary: Durriatun Noor Chowdhury
• Women affairs secretary: Israt Jahan Smrity
• Associate research & development secretary: Noushin Tabassum Juthi
• Associate media & publication Secretary: Ajmain Rashid Enan
• Associate office & logistics secretary: Maruf Hossain

Mr. Arif, the newly elected President, expressed enthusiasm about the committee’s vision for the upcoming term.

“We are excited to take the society to new heights by organizing engaging debates, workshops, and competitions. Our goal is to create an inclusive platform where ideas can be exchanged freely, and critical thinking is nurtured,” he remarked.

With the new committee in place, CUDS aims to expand its reach and impact through innovative programs and collaborations.
