Inflation decreased from a month earlier to 9.24% in April, as per figures released today by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS). In March, it was 9.33 percent.

According to figures from the state-run statistical agency, food inflation decreased from 9.09% the month before to 8.84% last month, while non-food inflation stayed the same at 9.72%.
