Nagad Limited, the mobile financial service (MFS) wing of the Bangladesh Postal Department, recorded its highest-ever monthly transaction volume in October, processing over Tk 347.05 billion.

According to a press release issued by the company, the Department of Social Services and the Department of Women’s Affairs distributed various allowances among 7.9 million beneficiaries through Nagad during the month.

Alongside the disbursements, regular services — including cash-in, cash-out, fund transfers, bill payments, and mobile recharges — contributed to the record-breaking figure, reinforcing Nagad’s position as one of Bangladesh’s leading MFS providers.

This marks a new milestone for the company, surpassing its previous record of Tk 340 billion in March 2025 and Tk 320 billion in June 2024. Nagad also reported its highest-ever single-day transaction on 15 October, when customers conducted transactions worth Tk 16.45 billion.

Md Motasem Billah, administrator of Nagad, congratulated customers, employees, and partners on the achievement, saying, “Success never comes by chance; rather, it is the outcome of collective effort and dedication. When everyone works together with a shared vision and values, striving for excellence becomes much easier.”

He added that customer confidence in the institution has strengthened under the current management, helping sustain growth in both transaction volume and user base.
