NBR extends online VAT return deadline

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended the deadline for filing online Value Added Tax (VAT) returns for the January 2026 tax period to February 22.
The extension follows prolonged public holidays for Shab-e-Barat and the 13th National Parliamentary Election.
Technical disruptions also contributed to the decision, according to an NBR notification.
