TCB launches Ramadan subsidy sales tomorrow

The Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will start selling essential commodities at subsidized prices in nine metropolitan areas from February 17, ahead of Ramadan.
Items include edible oil (BDT 115/litre), sugar (BDT 80/kg), lentils (BDT 70/kg), chickpeas (BDT 60/kg), and dates (BDT 160/kg). Purchase limits per customer are two litres of oil, one kg sugar, two kg lentils, one kg chickpeas, and 0.5 kg dates.
Sales will take place from 450 TCB trucks in cities including Dhaka and Chattogram until March 12. Operations will run weekly, excluding Fridays and holidays.
