Bangladesh’s tax authority has extended the deadline for filing individual income tax returns by another month.
The National Board of Revenue said taxpayers can now submit returns for the 2025–26 tax year until February 28. The decision was announced through a special order issued on Tuesday.
This is the third time the deadline has been extended. The NBR had earlier moved the submission date to January 31. That followed a previous extension from December 31.
The original deadline for filing returns was November 30.
The tax authority said the latest extension was granted in the public interest.
