Bangladesh’s leading food processor PRAN has secured export orders worth about $5.5 million at the Gulf Food Fair 2026. The five-day event, one of the world’s largest food and beverage exhibitions, concluded on January 30 at the Dubai World Trade Centre in the United Arab Emirates.
The orders came from countries including the US, China, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia. PRAN said buyers showed strong interest in its biscuits, noodles, beverages, and confectionery products.
PRAN Group showcased around 500 varieties of food products at its pavilion. This year’s fair featured over 8,000 exhibitors from 195 countries.
Mizanur Rahman, executive director for exports at PRAN Group, said the company is working to strengthen its presence in Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, Central and South America, and Europe.
Kamruzzaman Kamal, marketing director of PRAN-RFL Group, said the company’s goal is to deliver its products worldwide and become one of the top 10 global food brands.
The Gulf Food Fair, he added, plays a key role in connecting business communities across countries and opening opportunities for international partnerships.
